Challenges in the Current Landscape

Lending markets have played a pivotal role in the DeFi revolution, serving as pioneering protocols in the industry. Notable platforms like Aave and Compound have established themselves as dominant players, capturing a significant market share.

However, despite their prominence, the borrowing and lending concept has yet to undergo substantial improvements. This has resulted in persistent inefficiencies, leading users to experience suboptimal APR.

While some projects have attempted innovation, such as isolated risk pools, these efforts often fall short in terms of user experience.

Users are often required to actively manage their positions as pool rates fluctuate, and the establishment of new pools often encounters a catch-22 situation where borrowers wait for lenders, and vice versa.

Consequently, underutilized pools and fragmented liquidity become prevalent.

Natrium's Solution

In contrast, Natrium endeavors to empower users by placing risk management directly in their hands.

Unlike the existing landscape of isolated pools or protocol-driven risk mitigation, Natrium offers a user-centric, flexible, and efficient lending solution while also taking advantage of Blast's Native Yield. In doing so, it aims to boost capital efficiency and enhance the overall user experience.
